What Heidelberg patients come to us for
Foot pain rarely stays a foot problem. Left alone it changes how you walk, then how your knees and hips take load, and eventually how much you are willing to do. Most Heidelberg patients we meet have been working around something for months: heel pain for the first ten minutes of the morning, an ingrown toenail that keeps getting infected, a bunion that has started to drift.
None of it is trivial and none of it has to be permanent. We work out what is actually driving it, treat it in the same visit where we can, and give you something you can keep doing at home.

Podiatry for Heidelberg, one stop down the Hurstbridge line
Heidelberg sits one stop from us on the Hurstbridge line, and a few minutes south along Rosanna Road if you drive. The clinic is at 8 Bellevue Avenue, Rosanna, directly opposite a 120-space car park, so you are not circling for a spot on a foot that already hurts.
A lot of our Heidelberg podiatry patients come to us from around the Austin and Warringal Private precinct, and that shapes the work we do most for this suburb: diabetic foot assessments, wound and nail care, and follow-up for people who have had lower-limb surgery and need their gait and footwear reassessed. If your GP has written you a chronic condition management plan, Medicare pays a rebate of $63.40 per visit and a gap fee applies. Bring the referral and your Medicare card and we will claim it on the spot.
The other half of our Heidelberg work comes off Warringal Park, where Heidelberg Football Netball Club, the junior club and Heidelberg Cricket Club all share the ground. Shin splints, Achilles pain, heel pain in growing kids and ankle sprains that never quite settled are the usual reasons those families end up here.
Heidelberg is in the City of Banyule, the same council as Rosanna, so we are a genuinely local clinic rather than a city practice with a suburb page. HICAPS is on site for on-the-spot health fund claims, and you do not need a referral to book unless you are coming through a Medicare care plan, WorkCover or the TAC.
