Montmorency is four stops from Rosanna on the Hurstbridge line, or a short drive down Para Road and Lower Plenty Road. The clinic is at 8 Bellevue Avenue, Rosanna, opposite a 120-space car park.
Montmorency sits against the Plenty Gorge and Yarra parklands, and that terrain shows up in what we treat. Rolled and repeatedly sprained ankles from uneven tracks, Achilles and calf pain from hill walking, and forefoot pain from descending on hard ground are all more common here than in the flatter suburbs closer to the city.
The Were Street shops and the sporting fields at Petrie Park anchor the other half of it. Junior football and cricket send us growth-related heel pain through winter and spring, and we see plenty of parents who have taken up walking or running on the same trails and done too much too soon.
