Most people who book with us from Ivanhoe have already tried the obvious things. New shoes, a foam roller, a fortnight off. When a foot problem outlasts all of that it usually means something structural is driving it, and that is what we assess for: how you load the foot, what your footwear is doing to it, and which tissue is actually irritated. Then we treat it, generally in the same visit.

Ivanhoe is three stops from us on the Hurstbridge line, or a straight run up Upper Heidelberg Road if you drive. The clinic sits at 8 Bellevue Avenue, Rosanna, opposite a 120-space car park, which matters more than it sounds when walking any distance is the problem you came in with.
A good share of our Ivanhoe work arrives by referral from the sports physicians and orthopaedic surgeons around 171 Upper Heidelberg Road. That means a lot of post-surgical follow-up: reassessing gait and footwear once a boot comes off, and getting people back to load safely rather than guessing.
The other steady stream is school-aged. Ivanhoe has a dense cluster of primary and secondary schools, and growing feet in sport produce a predictable list. Severs disease heel pain in eight to fourteen year olds, shin splints, and arches that fatigue by the end of a season.
Ivanhoe sits in the City of Banyule, the same council as Rosanna, and we hold Saturday appointments for people who cannot get away midweek. HICAPS is on site for on-the-spot health fund rebates.

Most Ivanhoe patients reach the clinic in under fifteen minutes up Waterdale Road. It is a similar trip from Heidelberg, Viewbank and Bulleen, a little longer from Northcote, Preston and Kingsbury, and we see regular patients from further north in Macleod, Watsonia, Greensborough, Montmorency and Lower Plenty.
